About Roomzzz Manchester Corn Exchange

Roomzzz Manchester Corn Exchange occupies the old Corn Exchange building, a distinctive rounded landmark where several streets meet in the heart of the city, surrounded by bars, restaurants and entertainment within easy walking distance. The setting gives many rooms unusual angles and outlooks over the city rather than the standard rectangular hotel block view.

Rooms are set up more like apartments than typical hotel quarters, with well-equipped kitchens, en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning, and some have unusual layouts that make good use of the building's original shape. Guests get free WiFi throughout, drinks in the room, and accessible rooms are available for those who need them. There's a lift, a gym on-site, meeting rooms, and laundry and luggage storage for longer stays or business trips.

Parking isn't on-site but chargeable options are nearby, and there's an electric vehicle charge point for those who need it. Pets are welcome. Staff are generally friendly and the central position makes it easy to reach the city's pubs, restaurants and golf courses nearby, though a few guests have found service inconsistent when it comes to handling requests.

Rooms could have been a bit cleaner, our table wasn’t whipped and sitting on the sofa right beside u is the window ledge it was thick with dust. Also our room was 135 and it was a trek to reach it! Staff checking us in gave us 0 information, we felt like we were bothering him just trying to check in. We weren’t even aware they offered free coffee and croissants. Over all the room was really nice and location was amazing. Would definitely stay again. Huge shoutout to the man working on reception Sunday the 5/07, he was amazing! He was just so friendly and approachable nothing was an issue to him. I was sat in the reception for an hour or two and he was great with all the guests. He deserves a raise!

Great location - right in the centre of it all! The building is huge and the several times staying here it is always a peaceful, quiet haven after partaking in the hustle and bustle outside. The staff are friendly and efficient and the rooms are clean. Having a kitchen is great as well. The only negative is that if you are traveling for a romantic weekend away or with a friend, the bathroom setup is not ideal and lacks a bit of privacy. 🤷‍♀️

LOCATION is something this hotel tops!! Cant beat it. Rooms are okay, well equipped and clean. Staff is basically with zero flexibility, they have fix policies and no one can go above and beyond to provide extra customer service. No dental kits available, Every amenity like comb, shaving kit or vanity kit is PAID. No one helps you with luggage, I was with family and at checkin no one came to help with luggage. At checkout we had a lot of luggage and no help at all. Taxi cant come at the door so you have to drag it all the way to roadside. NO BREAKFAST OPTION. NO TOILETS IN LOBBY. Strictly 11AM CHECKOUT TIME. 10£ for 2hr late checkout! These policies are good for a basic 2-3 star hotel. and if it was that I would have rated much higher! But it says 4-star hotel and it didn’t look like that due to service provided. STILL IF PRICE IS LOWER AND YOU WANT BEST CENTRAL LOCATION this is a good option. If you prefer services like a 4-star hotel and goos daily housekeeping, breakfast then this is not a perfect choice

Stayed here recently and really enjoyed it. The apartment has a bedroom and an open-plan living/dining area with a kitchen. The natural light is excellent, although the windows cannot be opened. Breakfast includes croissants and coffee, and the croissants were surprisingly good. The location is extremely convenient — walk downstairs through the beautiful garden bar and out the back entrance, and you’re close to the National Football Museum and the cathedral. From the front entrance, Selfridges, M&S, and the Arndale Centre are just steps away. There are also plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Overall, a very convenient and pleasant stay.
