About YOTEL Manchester Deansgate

Step into a room at YOTEL Manchester Deansgate and you'll find a neatly designed space rather than a sprawling one: cabin-style layouts make clever use of every corner, with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and drinks available in the room. Some rooms look out over the city skyline, and family rooms and accessible rooms are available for those who need them. Space is tight by design, but everything is well organised and ready for a short, functional stay.

Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar with outdoor seating on a terrace, a spot that's become a bit of a draw in its own right, along with a snack bar, breakfast service and kids' meals for younger guests. Free WiFi runs throughout, and practical extras such as luggage storage, laundry service, a lift, business services and meeting rooms make it as suited to work trips as leisure stays. Pets are welcome too.

The hotel sits on John Dalton Street in the heart of Manchester, with pubs, restaurants and entertainment all close by, plus a golf course and watersports nearby for those wanting to venture further afield. It's a compact, well-equipped base for exploring the city centre on foot.

I enjoyed my night at Yotel Deansgate more than I expected to. It was booked via work & I had low expectations of the brand but actually it was really quite enjoyable! Fantastic location. Nice, trendy decor. Comfy bed, an amazing shower (great water pressure), pretty quiet and everything you need is right there in the room. Yes it’s small, but there’s a smart TV, all of the sockets you could need and I quite liked the spaces carved into the bed to charge your phone and put your water. The only thing I didn’t like about the room (419) was no natural light due to the winter looking out to a very close/very high building. I loved the fact there were irons & ironing boards left out for people to grab at the tea & coffee point. Hotels where you have to call down for an iron is a huge bugbear of mine! Breakfast was also good. Lots of choice. And being able to check in/check out on the iPad was a nice touch. I’d defo stay here again the next time I’m in Manchester - whether for business or leisure.

Budget friendly hotel. Loved the reception area. Self check in option was great with staff available to help if required. There was a coffee machine and water dispenser just opposite to lift in my floor which was amazing. Loved the idea. Liked the room. But some disadvantages were that the walls between rooms are very thin i think as we could clearly hear conversations from nearby room which made me uncomfortable as I was worried about them hearing our conversations in our room. Also there was just this small window to get natural light.

Has lots of things going for it, but sadly not a good nights sleep. You could hear a very loud running water noise from the room above us every time they ran their tap, shower, or flushed their toilet. The mattress was very hard, and the air conditioning did not cool down the room. The room was very modern, the shower was powerful and there was free tea and coffee available on each floor. I didn’t have much interaction with the staff, as this mostly a self service hotel, but the staff I did speak to were all very helpful and professional. The location is excellent, especially for the price of the room.

Central Manchester location. Rooms are spacious for a couple. Bed has ample plugs and sockets for charging. Bathroom was in good condition and shower had good water pressure. There is a coffee machine on your floor and a water dispenser which was v handy. Overall great stay would recommend.
