Had the best day visiting Great Wedlock Farm and Deer park. We booked the 1 hour buggy safari to see the deer's. The guide was fantastic, and very knowledgeable! Some of the stags (King, Gandalf, Prince and Merlin) were very impressive! The deers looked very well cared for and were very confident coming up to the carts. It was interesting to learn about the deers and we could ask questions throughout. It was nice to see other wildlife too, the swallows were very cute flying around. Afterwards there is a small cafe and you could also visit the market opposite, although this was only open on weekends i believe. If you want an impressive souvenir there were antlers on sale in the shop, as well as meat produced from the deers culled that year at the farm. Overall an excellent morning out in Tenby, would definitely recommend if you are visiting the area.

ADULTS, manage your expectations! We didn't think this visitor attraction met the desciption in the leaflet and although the deer are friendly and approachable (hence the 2 stars) they are only visible through a heavy duty fence unless you pay extra for a buggy safari, which we didn't. The biggest disappointment for us was the nature walk, which is nothing of the sort, its a schlep on the outside of a 2 mile municipal-looking fence that's so bulky, it mars the otherwise lovely views of both countryside and deer. We were done after about an hour. The adult entry fee seems poor value for money as the whole venue seems totally geared to children, with a shop area that stocks nothing but soft toys. It was fairly empty when we went and the whole place felt pretty soulless. Clearly money has been spent setting up the place, but not in making anything look attractive. The deer terrace is a bland and empty slab of concrete, all the signage is made from vehicle number plates. The venue is in a lovely setting and could be so much more welcoming and appealing. Some nice wooden signs and some tubs of plants outside would make a huge difference, for a start. And maybe consider what an adult is getting for the entry fee.

I took my 10 and 14 year old boys the other day! Luckily the weather was spot on! I booked a tour buggy guide, this was the highlight of my visit. The deers are beautiful and feeding them was a great experience. The buggy cost was reasonable. I would recommend only buying 2 pots of food, however I got 4 for £10 and had to use it up! Cafe is slightly expensive, but very lovely and warm. My boys enjoyed the experience, however my 10 year old was slightly bored on the buggy tour. I would definitely recommend going, very clean place with friendly, kind staff.

Absolutely fantastic experience! We got the buggies and had our own private tour guide around the grounds! We were also lucky enough to hand feed some deer and our guide was so informative! It’s a must visit whilst in Tenby!
