Quiet countryside touring park near St Florence, a short drive from Tenby
About Trefalun Park
Trefalun Park is a small, family-run site set in farmland near St Florence, a few miles inland from Tenby's beaches. Pitches are tucked among mature trees and hedgerows on gently sloping ground, with a mix of grass and hardstanding options, and the park has earned a reputation for being well kept and personally managed rather than run at scale.
Campers appreciate the peaceful rural setting and the friendly, hands-on approach from owners, though a few note that facilities can feel a little tired in places. St Florence village, with its pub and shop, is an easy walk, while Tenby, Manorbier and the wider Pembrokeshire coast are all a short drive away, making Trefalun a practical base for exploring the area by car while camping somewhere quieter than the coast itself.

What visitors say
Caravan park that is most welcoming also quiet but still close enough to Tenby and Saundersfoot areas. Nice little gem with new sales at a good deal well worth looking at.

First time to stay here. What a find. Very well maintained, constantly cleaning, emptying bins, cutting the grass. The toilet / shower block was clean and well presented. Very children friendly, safe for them to ride their bikes, scooters, etc. There's a dog walking field away from where the children play. There's a good park in a large field for the children to play. Excellent location, 2 minutes to Manor Wildlife farm and Heatherton, 5 minutes to the dinosaur Park and 11 minutes to Folly Farm. There are other things only minutes away too. Definitely a great base.

The toilet and shower block were kept beautifully clean. It’s a very quiet and peaceful location but two nights in a row a group of people were making a lot of noise and playing loud music until midnight. It was reported to the office after the first night but no action appeared to be taken. The new pitches in the paddock are fully serviced which is good but are very small and not level. We will not be returning

First time at this site. When we arrived there was no designated area to park up with the caravan to check in so we had to park on the road. At reception everyone was outside, so I approached the people standing chatting to find out where to check in. The woman on duty was certainly not the friendliest person and she told me with no smile or eye contact to enter via reception entrance which I had not noticed. On check in she was slightly more amenable but did not introduce herself and did not seem very friendly at all. During our stay, on a few occasions I walked past other members of staff and smiled at them but had no response, just a cursory look. There is no onsite shop which is a shame as although Tenby etc are nearby a small shop would be very helpful. The campsite is beautiful with an amazing children’s play area. The dog walk was handy and clean with no dog poo anywhere. The toilets and showers were clean but for such a large site there were only 4 showers which in high season must be very busy. The park was full of empty caravans which were seasonal pitches and they were certainly jammed in. I don’t think this site really wants tourers, they seem only interested in the seasonal pitches and the seasonal customers seem to be the ones to receive friendly greetings etc. I saw from a previous review that Trefalun campers can use the facilities at Minerton campsite but this was not mentioned to us, perhaps this is no longer the case. Certainly would not return which is a shame as we were looking out for seasonal pitches for next year. Definitely not value for money.
