The Old Cottage

The building sits on working farmland, surrounded by fields and lime woods that stretch toward rolling horizons. One dog is welcome to stay, and the whole place is yours alone.

Downstairs there is a living room with a wood burner and smart TV, a separate dining room, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. A toilet is tucked away separately. Upstairs, two bedrooms have kingsize beds and one holds a pair of singles; the bathroom has both a bath with shower attachment and a separate cubicle. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with heating, electricity and wifi. Initial fuel for the burner comes with the booking. Parking for three cars sits on site, and the back garden has a firepit and seating area.

This corner of Lincolnshire suits anyone wanting to walk, cycle or simply breathe open air without crowds. Miles of quiet routes thread through woodland and farmland from the door. Light pollution is minimal, which matters if you care about stars. Lincoln Cathedral and the castle sit twenty minutes' drive away if a town day appeals. The property does not permit smoking.
