Getting into the countryside – and away from any kids – is refreshingly straightforward at Faldingworth Farm Retreats. This peaceful adults-only site on a working farm offers just a handful of cosy shepherd's huts, each kitted out for couples with its own private hot tub, proper kitchen, ensuite bathroom and decking with country views. You're properly set up for laidback soaks and sunset alfresco meals, though note that pets aren't allowed.
The farm sits around 25 minutes' drive from both the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape and Lincoln itself, making it easy to explore valleys or city streets. Market Rasen, with its Georgian and Victorian architecture along the River Rase, is just 15 minutes away for shops and cafés, while pubs are even closer.
Come for the quiet, the views, the wildlife – or the alpacas. Yes, there are alpacas living on site that you're welcome to visit between hot tub sessions.

It was all perfect. Great, well equipped Shepherd’s Hut in a lovely quiet location. The hot tub was great & excellent WiFi too as I had to work whilst here. Not too far into Lincoln & I used ‘Park & Ride’ to go into the centre - ideal. I will hopefully come back.

Lovely little holiday, finding the location was easy with the given directions, The hot tub was absolutely lovely, even with the wind! May have just been me but the door was a little stiff with the lock but otherwise absolutely perfect! Great for a long bank holiday weekend :)

Fabulous place to stay. Just what I needed and didn’t want for anything more. Perfect for exploring Lincolnshire and would highly recommend it. Be prepared to search for places to eat as not much bar a coop close by, which didn’t bother me as I was off exploring every day.

Lovely facilities in a lovely setting. Our cabin was of high quality and clean, but the hot tub didn't appear to be as fresh as we would have liked (not dirty but certainly not completely clean from the last use). Facilities were otherwise of a good standard. Setting was ideal being far enough away from civilization to feel nice and quiet but still with easy access to local services and attractions. We did take a while to find "instructions" for the facilities as they were hidden in a drawer. We did have a lovely welcome hamper, would have been ideal if instructions were with this. Overall excellent experience though.
