Lovely modern cinema. Great place for the kids. Offer discounted movie days. Food unfortunately very expensive.

I wanted to share my thoughts on a recent visit to the Odeon cinema. Overall, it's a good spot with plenty of room, screens, and all the snacks you could want. The good stuff: -✅We could order tickets online and access them on our phones, which was super convenient. - ✅The Costa in the foyer is top-notch. - ✅They have Ben & Jerry's, pick and mix, and all the usual movie treats. - ✅There's even a small selection of hot food available. - ✅The foyer is modern and spacious. - ✅The bathrooms are clean and roomy. - ✅Ample free parking and easy access for everyone, including those who can't manage stairs. - ✅And the staff were really friendly. The not-so-good stuff: - ❌Ordering food and drinks using the screens was a bit limited, and we missed out on our favourite slushies. - ❌They were all out of Deadpool merch, even though it was less than a day since the movie's release. - ❌The bins were overflowing, which wasn't pleasant. Accessibility-wise, they've done a good job: - ✅♿The general area is wheelchair friendly, with ramps where needed. - ✅♿There are designated disabled parking bays near the entrance. - ✅♿The disabled toilets are clean and spacious. - ✅♿And they have clearly marked seats for wheelchair users and carers. A word of caution: I had some trouble booking disabled or carer seats since I'm not in a wheelchair. I tried reaching out for help but was told it could take up to 10 days to get a response. Definitely disappointing, as having these seats would make a huge difference for me due to my specific needs ie Neurodiversity, photophobia, hyperacusis and Epilepsy. ♿️ UPDATE: I complained via the web page about the lack of Accessible seating and being unable to book Disability friendly seating or a Carers seat as I’m not in a wheelchair. I suggested each exit should have a small cluster of A for Accessible seats, with the gaps for wheelchair as ♿️. The employee intends to pass on my constructive criticism. 💫💫💫 I was also refunded the cost of one adult ticket, which I felt was a nice gesture and shows a commitment to good customer service. Credit where it’s due!

Lovely cinema. Super clean. Love the Costa for a decent coffee to take in. We didn’t buy snacks purely as the tickets were dear for a family of 5. That would be my only feedback- tickets are expensive. We were staying in a caravan for a short break and the weather was terrible so it was a great escape however it was a lot more than the Vue which we have at home. Much nicer facilities but for a family it is quite a lot. We were the only ones in the cinema which was fab however I wonder if it was cheaper whether more people would go (it was during the school break). My tip would be to check Amazon for offers as we saved a little for adult tickets. Staff all friendly and helpful.

Smells like wet socks, and you pay (a lot) for the privilege. Would strongly recommend avoiding - it's like stepping into a time machine and going to a cinema in 2005. Cramped with terrible smells from seats that haven't been cleaned in months/years, and ridiculous prices. £12 for a ticket and £3.49 for a bottle of water? No thanks.
