Took our two year old granddaughter here recently and had a great time. The park is really well laid out and has lots of activities for all ages, as well as a good variety of animals to see and feed. There are a number of eating places and lots of picnic benches inside and out. We will definitely take our own food next time, as we were not impressed with the food we purchased. We visited right in the middle of the school holiday period, but there is plenty of parking and although the park was very busy, it did not seem overcrowded. We did not have to wait long for rides etc or even to get in. All in all, this is a great day out and very good value for money. (Just take your own food).

Well, what an amazingly well kept secret this place is. The sheer size of it is amazing enough. The staff are all lovely and friendly. The animals appear to be well looked after. If I have to find a negative, and believe me that's difficult, it would be that signage needs to be updated. A lot of animals advertised that are no longer there. But like I said, that's a small thing. The small creatures meet and greet is great but can get crazy busy and there is no order to things. We also had lunch there, food was delicious and came out super fast. Very impressed. This place deserves the five stars just for the amount of play park space they have for kids. If you are thinking about going here, stop thinking and just book it.

We visited heads of Ayr during our stay at Craig Tara last week. Mostly so my daughter could see the highland cows we’d traveled round a few different places but to her dismay didn’t come across any so to be guaranteed to see them we decided to book heads of ayr and I’m glad we did. We booked online which meant we got a discount on our tickets compared to walk in price. Great place with so much to do lots of different variety of animals you don’t see in typical farms there was lots of activities and places to play my children loved it the wrist bands meant that you had access for that day you booked could maybe head back to the holiday park for lunch then head back there however there was food areas and you’re welcome to bring your own food too. Would definitely recommend. We will be returning on another visit to Scotland
