The Old Dairy sits on a working cattle farm in rural Leicestershire, a few miles from Melton Mowbray. The setting is genuinely pastoral—the kind of place where you might see cows across the fields and wake to farmyard life. The village of Nether Broughton is within walking distance, with a pub for a quiet evening out.
The cottage itself is compact but complete: a ground-floor open-plan space containing the kitchen, dining area and living room, with a double bedroom and en-suite upstairs. The kitchen has what you need to cook properly—electric oven, hob, microwave and fridge-freezer. Heating comes from an air source heat pump with underfloor heating throughout. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all provided.
You have access to a shared back garden with the owners, where there's a patio and a raised pond. One dog can stay free, though they need to be kept on a lead; note there are two steps down to the garden. The whole property is yours alone, with private parking for one car. No smoking inside.
