West Middlewick Farm - Dalch

Photo: West Middlewick Farm

West Middlewick Farm – Dalch is a single-storey log cabin where you walk straight into an open-plan living space: living area with woodburner and patio doors onto the garden, dining area, and kitchen in one continuous room. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. One bedroom contains a double bed with its own ensuite shower; the other two bedrooms each have two single beds and share a shower room between them. The cabin sleeps six and sits on a working sheep farm in the Devon countryside a short drive from Tiverton.

The lawned garden has a patio and furniture; oil central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Wi-Fi is available. Parking for three cars is on site, and there's a pub within a mile. The 120-acre grounds are shared with other properties and include woodland and fishing (at cost). A fenced lake lies 400 yards from the cabin. The property is non-smoking.

We stayed here at the weekend and what a lovely location it is. Reasonably priced stay (we camped), the location makes the price well deserved. Staff are very accommodating e.g. sold us some oat milk from their restaurant when we didn't have any, little things like that. The restaurant itself has lovely food freshly sourced! Staff around the working farm also very accommodating, giving children carrots to feed the animals. Being surrounded by their lovely animals and a host of lovely walks makes you not even want to leave the campsite. Would recommend this camp site to anyone!

What a wonderful friendly place to stay! Beautiful farm shop with the most delicious treats. We got to meet the new born calves which the kids loved. They enjoyed the little play park and the open space to play too. Overall a great place to stay if you’re looking for something laid back and friendly
