Little Barn

Monmouthshire

View on Google Maps

Through the door of Little Barn, you step into an open-plan ground floor where living, dining and kitchen flow together as one space. A wood burner and underfloor heating keep things warm; a TV and DVD player are there if you want to stay in for the evening. Upstairs, a galleried bedroom holds a double bed. The shower room sits on the ground floor. The whole place is yours alone—a detached conversion on a working farm in the hamlet of Glanbaiden, with views across to the Black Mountains and Sugarloaf.

The garden is enclosed and lawned, with a patio, seating and a barbecue for cooking outdoors. There's a bike store if you're bringing cycles. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are all included. A welcome pack awaits on arrival. One car can park on site. The property does not permit smoking.

Abergavenny lies within easy reach—a market town with a castle, museum, and a reputation for food festivals. The Brecon Beacons and surrounding peaks are on the doorstep for walkers and cyclists. A shop and pub are half a mile away; restaurants are three miles distant. Note that there are steps both to the entrance and within the garden itself.
