I stayed at Miller’s Rest campsite whilst walking on the Offa’s Dyke path. It’s in an excellent location, offering camping facilities at the northern end of the section from Knighton to Brompton Bridge/crossroads. It’s easy to reach, being about 1 km on quiet rural roads from the path. Matt & Anne offer dinners and breakfast, which were delicious. There’s also soft drink and chocolate bars for sale. The camping area is secluded, & there are seating areas to shelter if it’s raining. Highly recommended.

A lovely well equipped little campsite! The field was tidy and the facilities were clean and to a good standard. The owner came to greet us and was very friendly. The honesty fridge full of cold drinks, chocolate and cakes was a nice touch too.

Great place to stay. Propper showers end great pizza at Friday night made in the Old Mill. And nice people. A little of the Offa Dyke path, but worth the effort to go there, it is the nearest campsite to Montgomery if you come from the south.

What a find. This little gem offers a very clean well kept site. Toilet and showers are well maintained and clean. There is a good sized accessible wet room shower and also a shower in both the ladies and men's toilets. Small site with electric hook-ups available on most pitches if required. Dogs on leads welcome. There are a couple of Bell tents on site. Friendly owners. We turned up without a booking and were made to feel welcome. Definitely one to remember for our next van life adventure.
