Number 12
Moray
Portknockie is a working fishing village on the Moray coast, where the shoreline breaks into small creeks and inlets at the end of the residential street where Number 12 stands. The Bow Fiddle Rock, a striking natural arch, is a short walk away, and the village itself has a well-regarded fish and chip shop and a hotel serving meals. Cullen, two miles down the coast, is known for cullen skink. Walkers find plenty to do here, and golfers will find courses within reach; Buckie, five miles further west, offers boat trips into the Moray Firth to look for dolphins.
The house is a traditional family home with space across three levels. Ground floor has a living room, dining room and kitchen with breakfast area, plus a bedroom and shower room—useful if stairs are a concern. The first floor holds two further bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with two singles. A bathroom with bath and toilet is also upstairs. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with electric oven, gas hob, microwave and slow cooker. A utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer sits on the ground floor. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included; electricity is metered. The property sleeps five and is yours alone for the stay.
Out back, an enclosed lawned garden with furniture gives a safe space for children. Off-road parking accommodates two small vehicles or one medium-sized car. No smoking inside the property.
