What visitors say

Visited trengwaiton and it was absolutely stunning. The walled garden was a real highlight, beautifully kept and full of interesting plants. The terrace does involve a steep walk up, but it’s well worth it for the incredible views once you get there. There are lots of lovely shaded walking routes throughout the gardens, making it a peaceful and relaxing place to explore. Parking is free for National Trust members, and there are toilets on site. The staff were kind, helpful, and very informative, which added to the overall experience. A beautiful garden well worth a visit.

Beautiful rhodies, camillas and walked garden. Magnolias were done when we visited but this is the place to take pictures. Worth the trip. Cafe nice also with great outdoor seating. Quaint for a National Trust.

This was a lovely experience. Went mid July. Prolific hydrangeas and agapanthus, large palms. Staff set out plenty of holiday activities for young ones. Cafe is pleasant. Gift store and old bookshop.

On Easter Sunday we visited the gardens for there easter activity and as always the gardens didn't disappoint with beautiful signs of spring coming in to full swing and the activities for it were extremely engaging. Once the activities were all done we had a bit of time to kill before going home so we both went to the cafe on site to enjoy some well earned Callstick ice creams, and I had a Almond Simnal Scone which was there scone of the month. I very much enjoyed and we took some apple crumble cake home to share with the family which went down well! Overall a wonderful day out for me and my daughter to share in the e Easter celebrations!
