Four Oaks

Four Oaks stands a few miles from the Dorset coast, at the fringe of the New Forest National Park—terrain that draws walkers, cyclists and riders for its open heathland and forest trails. The village of Bransgore has three pubs within reach, a shop a third of a mile away, and the nearest one just eighty metres from the door. Mudeford, Bournemouth and Poole beaches are accessible for the day, as are Beaulieu and Exbury Gardens.

The detached cottage sleeps eight across three bedrooms: a ground-floor room with bunk beds (double below, single above), a first-floor super kingsize, and another with a double and single. Two bathrooms serve the property—one with a roll-top bath, one with a shower cubicle. Downstairs, a large living room and separate lounge both have television; the kitchen/dining room is equipped for proper cooking, with a gas hob, electric range, dishwasher and American fridge. A utility room outside holds washing and tumble-drying facilities for longer stays. Essentials like electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included.

The enclosed gardens are substantial, with lawned areas, patios and garden furniture. A summer house in the grounds contains a hot tub for private use. One well-behaved pet stays free. The property does not allow smoking. Families with young children will find a travel cot and highchair available, and six televisions throughout mean everyone can occupy themselves. Steps and slopes in the garden should be considered if mobility is limited.
