This single-storey cottage offers one bedroom with a king bed, one bathroom with bath and shower, and an open-plan living space that includes a sofa bed if you need flexibility. The kitchen has everything for self-catering—oven, hob, dishwasher, washer-dryer—and large windows flood the living area with light. An enclosed garden with seating looks out over fields. You get your own parking, and the essentials like bed linen, towels, heating and wi-fi are covered.

One dog can stay, and the rural setting means serious walking country all around. If you're bringing a horse, the owners arrange stables and grazing on request. The lodge suits couples or small groups after peace and space, with activities from cycling and fishing to the attractions at Moors Valley Country Park nearby. No smoking inside.
