About The Lodge
A bar and snack bar give The Lodge an easy-going base for food and drink, backed up by breakfast each morning and drinks available in the room for guests who'd rather stay put. It's a practical setup, built around visitors attending events at Newbury Racecourse rather than fine dining.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and free WiFi, and accessible rooms are available, with a lift serving the building. Beyond the room, guests have use of a gym on-site, meeting rooms for those travelling on business, and outdoor seating for warmer days. Laundry service and luggage storage cover the practical side of a stay, and free on-site parking makes arriving by car straightforward.
The racecourse setting puts golf, fishing, cycling and walking within reach nearby, along with watersports for the more active, and there's no shortage of pubs, bars and restaurants in the surrounding area for evenings out. It suits anyone in Newbury for the racing or an event, wanting a no-fuss place to sleep and eat close by.
