Windsor Holiday Park

Award-winning family holiday park at the foot of Slieve Donard

About Windsor Holiday Park

Windsor Holiday Park sits on the Dundrum Road at the edge of Newcastle, a stone's throw from the seafront and directly beneath Slieve Donard. This long-established, family-run site has collected multiple awards over the years and caters mainly to touring caravans and motorhomes, alongside a large complement of static caravans for rent or purchase. Hard-standing super pitches come with mains water, waste disposal and 16-amp electric hook-ups, and a Fairy Pod option offers a step up from standard camping.

On-site facilities target families staying for a week rather than overnight stoppers: a shop, launderette, games room and children's play area mean most daily needs are covered without heading into town, though some visitors note the park can feel a little tired in places. Free WiFi is available in the rental caravans. The position at the base of the Mournes puts mountain trails within easy reach on foot, while Newcastle's beach, promenade and restaurants are a short stroll in the opposite direction—a straightforward, well-equipped choice for a family week by the sea and hills.

The best holiday park in Newcastle! Friendly staff, excellently maintained with care, an absolute gem nestled at the backdrop of the Mourne mountains 🌄 If you have a touring caravan, would like to hire a static caravan, would like to own a static caravan or would like to hire a fairy pod... Windsor has you covered! Family, dog and couples and group friendly, you can't go wrong with Windsor 🫶🌟

People couldn’t be friendlier. The site is exceptionally well kept. The toilets & showers are pristine. Easy to drive in and out with a touring caravan. One of the best sites we’ve been to in Ireland.

Have stayed here twice now, both times the place has been immaculate. Toilets and facilities cleaned thoroughly. Staff friendly and helpful. I booked close to the park which was ideal for watching 2 younger kids only downfall was park was active with kids so was hard to get them to sleep. Would not pick purchase 1 to 4 again if you have younger kids who need to get to sleep.
