About Bedford Lodge Hotel
Bury Road runs out from the centre of Newmarket towards open Suffolk countryside, and it's along here, with the town itself under a couple of miles away, that Bedford Lodge Hotel sits within its own grounds and garden. The setting is quietly leafy rather than urban, giving the hotel a sense of retreat while keeping Newmarket's racing world within easy reach.
Inside, the hotel has 77 rooms, with drinks available in room and porter and concierge services on hand for anything guests need sorting. There's a restaurant and bar for meals and drinks, breakfast is served on-site, and free WiFi runs throughout. Wellness facilities are a strong point, with a spa and sauna, an indoor swimming pool and a gym all on-site, alongside meeting rooms for those combining business with the stay, and the hotel also operates as a wedding venue.
Free on-site parking makes arriving by car straightforward, and airport transfers can be arranged. Beyond the grounds, Haverhill Golf Club gives a reason to venture out, while nearby pubs, bars and restaurants add further options for evenings out without having to go far.
