Hedgeways is a single-storey house built for comfort and practicality. All three bedrooms sit on the ground floor alongside the shower room, which has a walk-in setup and heated towel rail. The largest bedroom has a king bed, the second a double, and the third holds bunks; one dog can stay free of charge. The kitchen is fully equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave—and opens via bi-folding doors onto a garden with patio seating. A separate toilet serves the main living areas. The sitting room has a smart television and French doors to the outside. Parking for two cars is on site, and wi-fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all provided.
Fordham itself is a quiet village at the heart of East Anglia, roughly equidistant from Ely, Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds. The Co-op on Carter Street supplies basics if you need them. Whether you want to spend a day exploring Ely's cathedral and riverfront shops, venture to Newmarket's racecourse, punt on the Cam in Cambridge, or simply use the house as a comfortable base for walking and local exploration, you have easy access to all of it. Note that the garden is not fully enclosed and surrounds the property; smoking is not permitted indoors.
