Cnapan Guest House occupies a Grade II listed, pink-painted Georgian townhouse known as Ivy House, on East Street in the centre of Newport, and has been offering bed and breakfast accommodation in the town for many years under its current ownership.
Five en-suite bedrooms are individually furnished in a traditional style, and the house takes its name from the medieval Welsh sport of cnapan, once played across this stretch of coast.
Its central location puts guests within easy walking distance of Newport's shops, galleries, cafés and pubs, as well as the Coast Path, Newport Sands and the approach to Carningli mountain.

This is a great place to stop, rooms had everything we needed. Judi is so lovely and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. We just wish we had more time to explore.
