Following the not so positive recent reviews for this campsite I feel I need to add some balance. I really enjoyed my overnight stay here. The campsite was tidy, the facilities were good and the welcome warm. The newly completed toilet and shower block was very clean and well serviced and very different to what was described in previous reviews. But what stands out here is the location with a idilic little working marina to walk down to and lots of food and drink options within a very short walk. All this for a very reasonable nightly cost. I will definitely be stopping over here again.

Lovely small site. I get the impression it has only recently been taken over so I wright my feedback with caution as my comments may be being addressed. Only one shower and 2 toilets which was okay, but the shower floods so nowhere dry to get changed. This really needs addressing as it wasn't a great experience. My only other comment would be the flood lights in the middle of the field are too bright and a smaller light would be sufficient. Otherwise we had a lovely stay. Access to the river for us to use our kayaks. 3 pubs, plenty of takeaways and shops just off site.

Just had the most wonderful chilled time at Loddon Marina Campsite. Yes it's a basic site with no Campsite facilities as stated. You can use the marina toilets that are cleaned daily. Also they have a shower (at a cost). They are in the process of installing a shower and toilet block Plenty of electric points 16amp. Beautiful dog walks. Lauches for paddle boarding. Very peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of space to play. Village has lots of pubs that do great food. Coop 2 min walk. Will definitely be going back x
