Sunnyside Cottage

Sunnyside Cottage works well for families or couples wanting a self-contained base on Arran. The two bedrooms—one with zip-and-link bed (super kingsize or twins), one with two single beds—sleep four. Downstairs there's a living and dining room with wood burner, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. One bathroom serves the property. Oil central heating and electricity are included, along with bed linen, towels and wifi; initial logs for the wood burner are provided too.

The cottage sits in a row of century-old stone buildings that have been updated inside. Both the main bedroom and the twin have smart TVs with Netflix access, and there are DVDs and games to use. An enclosed patio with garden furniture opens from the front. On-road parking is available. The property is a short walk from Lamlash, where you'll find the beach a mile away, a shop half a mile off, and various pubs and restaurants within three-quarters of a mile; the village also has a children's play park, tennis courts and golf. No smoking inside the cottage.
