Tennox Parlour is a detached four-bedroom house on a gated estate in North Ayrshire, sleeping eight across two bathrooms. Everything needed for self-catering is provided: the kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine; heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. All four bedrooms have kingsize beds and Freeview TV. One bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom with a freestanding bath, and another opens onto a balcony.

The property sits within 100 acres of grounds with woodland, a lawned garden with seating area, and a private hot tub for six. There is parking for four cars and a bike store. A river runs 400 yards from the house and ponds are 50 yards away. The wider estate is shared with only a handful of other properties and includes a patio and barbecue hut. Smoking is not permitted.

Rural Ayrshire offers plenty to explore: the Ayrshire Coastal Path runs for 100 miles with views across to Arran, inland there are castles including Culzean, golf courses, gardens and riding. The area is known for wildlife including red squirrels, deer and otters.
