Tennox Farm - Tennox Stables

Moorland, woodland and dunes shape the Garnock Valley landscape around Tennox Stables. This detached property occupies its own corner of a small gated estate, with a private hot tub among the gardens and a rear sitting area with barbecue. The building itself is large enough for eight people across four bedrooms, each with a kingsize bed. Three bathrooms serve the rooms—one with a jacuzzi bath, another with a roll-top bath—and downstairs a second living space opens onto a balcony, while the main one has an open fire.

The kitchen handles full cooking, with an electric range, dishwasher and the usual appliances. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are provided, with initial fuel for the fire included. There is a pond in the grounds, roughly 50 yards from the house. The property is non-smoking throughout.

The coast lies within reach for walkers tackling the Ayrshire Coastal Path, a hundred-mile route that draws otters, seals and red squirrels. Inland, the area holds castles at Dunure, Turnberry and Greenan, plus Culzean with its cliffside setting, and connections to Burns' poetry and Dumfries House. Private parking for four cars is on site.
