Braunton spreads out below this detached cottage, which sits high enough to command long views across the village rooftops, the rolling countryside beyond, and towards the North Devon coast. The building is arranged across two floors, with the main living spaces upstairs to make the most of the outlook. That means mornings on the balcony, and evenings gathered in a sitting room warmed by a woodburner, with the kitchen and dining area arranged to frame the scenery through multiple windows.

The three bedrooms and two bathrooms are downstairs. One bedroom has a king-size bed with access to its own patio; the other two are twin rooms, one of which can be configured as a super king-size bed. A walk-in shower and a bathroom with both bath and shower cubicle give flexibility for six people. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking, with a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and the usual appliances. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included. There is parking for two cars on site, and an enclosed pebbled garden outside. One well-behaved dog is welcome. No smoking throughout the property.
