Cider Cottage comes with bed linen and towels already sorted, plus a kitchen equipped for proper cooking: electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine. The woodburner in the living room takes the chill off winter evenings, and there's a DVD player and Freeview TV for downtime. A cot and highchair are available if needed. The three bedrooms sleep six – one with a double bed, two with singles – and share a single bathroom with bath and shower. Heating is by electric convectors throughout.
Positioned in open countryside near North Devon's border with Somerset, the cottage sits on its own grounds with private parking for two cars and a courtyard garden with furniture and a barbecue. One well-behaved dog is welcome. South Molton is close by with shops and a Thursday or Saturday market. Beaches at Instow, Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe are within reach for swimming and surfing; Exmoor National Park and the cliff railway at Lynton and Lynmouth lie further north. Barnstaple and Bideford, both market towns with quayside boat trips to Lundy, are accessible for a day out. The Tarka Trail and coastal paths suit cyclists. A shop and restaurant are four miles away; a food-serving pub is two miles distant. The property has steep spiral stairs and is non-smoking.
