Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton beaches are nearby for swimming and surfing, while smaller coves at Combe Martin, Lee Bay and Hele Bay suit rock pooling. Heading towards Lynton and Lynmouth, the cliffs at Countisbury Head and the Valley of the Rocks mark where Exmoor meets the sea.
