Kingsley Cottage

North Devon

Instow is an unspoilt seaside village where the beach stretches wide and sandy, fishermen still land their catch, and the Tarka Trail runs through for walkers and cyclists. Kingsley Cottage sits just yards from the shoreline, making it practical for families who want to spend their days on the sand or use it as a proper base for exploring North Devon's coast and countryside. The village itself has pubs and restaurants centred on locally caught seafood, a beachside cricket club if you want to watch a game with the waves as soundtrack, and golf within reach.

The cottage has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, both upstairs bedrooms with doubles and en-suite facilities. Downstairs, a living room with an electric woodburner opens to a dining room and functional kitchen with gas hob and electric oven. There's a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, a study, and an enclosed courtyard garden with furniture. Parking is on road. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; there's a travel cot and highchair if you need them, and space to store bikes or a surfboard. No smoking inside.

Bideford is three miles away. Exmoor, Dartmoor and North Cornwall are all within reasonable driving distance. The nearest shop is five hundred yards, and a pub is fifty yards away—one of them offers a dine-at-home service for guests staying here.
