Water's Edge is a detached house on the North Devon coast, positioned between the beach and the tidal estuary at Instow. The building sits across three floors with a principal bedroom on the ground floor opening to a balcony, a spacious first-floor living room with French doors also facing the water, and two further bedrooms upstairs. One bathroom serves the property. You get the whole place to yourself, with parking for two cars on site and an enclosed courtyard with decked terrace and barbecue.
The kitchen is equipped for full self-catering, with a gas cooker, dishwasher and washing machine among its appliances. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included. There are three bedrooms: one kingsize on the ground floor with television, one kingsize on the first floor, and three single beds on the second floor, sleeping seven in total. A cot and highchair are available. The house is non-smoking.
Instow is a quiet village with sandy beaches, a working fishing harbour and a scatter of shops, restaurants and pubs along the seafront. The Tarka Trail, a 180-mile walking and cycling route, runs nearby. From here you can reach Croyde and Woolacombe beaches for surfing within half an hour, or explore Exmoor and Dartmoor further inland. Bideford, with family attractions and more facilities, is three miles away by car.
