Perkins Cottage

You arrive at Perkins Cottage to find an entrance hall with space to store muddy boots and kit, leading into a home arranged over two floors. Downstairs, the kitchen is properly fitted out for cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and all the basics. The dining room opens onto a private garden through French doors, while the living room has a wood burner and smart TV. There's a full bathroom with bath and shower.

Upstairs holds three bedrooms: one with a king bed, one with a double, and one with two singles. A second bathroom with shower cubicle serves the bedrooms. The cottage is yours alone, with parking for three cars on site, Wi-Fi throughout, and bed linen and towels provided. One dog can stay free. An enclosed garden with patio, furniture and BBQ is accessible from the dining room, and initial logs for the wood burner are included.

The village sits on the edge of Ogston Reservoir, within reasonable reach of the Peak District. The White Horse pub is within a mile. Nearby Ashover has a shop and post office; Matlock and Bakewell are accessible for days out. No smoking inside the property.
