Bakewell, Matlock and Matlock Bath are all roughly twenty minutes' drive from The Barn, making it a practical base for exploring the Peak District. The village itself sits on the edge of the national park, close enough to Chatsworth House to visit easily, yet quiet enough that two pubs and three churches within walking distance feel like the main local action. You can store bikes here, and the area suits people who want to combine countryside walks with access to market towns and larger attractions.
The property is a renovated barn offering two bedrooms—one double, one single—and one bathroom on the first floor. Downstairs, an open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas with patio doors opening to a courtyard. The kitchen is equipped for everyday cooking; heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included. An enclosed garden with seating faces the property, and there is covered parking for two cars or motorcycles.
The Barn sleeps three and is yours alone for the duration of your stay. Smoking is not permitted inside.
