Mayfield Retreats - Smiling Hare

Smiling Hare is a modern pod designed for two people, built for comfort rather than traditional cottage charm. Everything is on the ground floor: a combined living room and kitchen with a smart TV and electric hob for cooking, a bedroom with a king-size bed, and a shower room with a heated towel rail. Electricity, Wi-Fi and bed linen are included, along with heating to keep you warm. You get your own parking space and a front garden with seating, with a barbecue available on request.

The pod sits in Burton Pedwardine, a small village six miles from Sleaford, where you can explore the local vineyard and book wine-tasting experiences. The surrounding countryside is crossable on foot or by bike, with deer sometimes visible in the paddock next door. Badminton, table tennis and paddleboards are available to use (shared facilities). If you need to venture further, Sleaford is close enough for markets and train journeys to the coast or beyond. Dogs are welcome and stay free. No smoking is permitted inside.
