Basil

Basil is a single-storey cottage in Broadland, set down a country lane with views across open fields. The whole property is yours alone, with parking on site. Inside, everything is on one floor: an open-plan living and dining space, a kitchen with electric cooking and a washing machine, one double bedroom, and a shower room. WiFi, bed linen and towels are included.

The location puts you in the heart of the Broads. Seal spotting, boat hire and cycling are all possible from here; How Hill nature reserve is nearby, as is Potter Heigham for boat rental. Wroxham, about 4 miles away, has the Bure Valley steam railway and a large village store. Sea Palling beach lies 6 miles off. Riverside pubs and cafés are scattered throughout the area. The wider region holds theme parks, museums, Blickling Hall and Norwich. A pub is within a mile of the cottage. No smoking inside; one pet is welcome.
