This converted barn sits deep in Broadland's countryside, where open fields stretch toward distant horizons and the landscape is punctuated by ancient churches, wind pumps and nature reserves. Mint is one of a cluster of properties built from period farm buildings, each with its own outdoor space and the kind of solidity that comes from proper stone and timber conversions.
The layout spreads across two floors. Downstairs holds a kitchen fitted for proper cooking, a dining and living area with Freeview and DVD, and a bathroom with shower. Upstairs contains three bedrooms—one double, two pairs of singles—plus a second shower room. A private hot tub sits outside. The essentials are covered: heating, electricity, wi-fi and bed linen are all included. One pet is welcome. No smoking indoors, please.
The surrounding area pulls in walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers. How Hill nature reserve is close by; Potter Heigham offers boat hire and is 4 miles away; Wroxham, the Broads' main hub, is reachable for the steam railway and shops. Sandy beaches at Sea Palling lie 6 miles off. Children have BeWILDerwood's treetop attractions and Great Yarmouth's funfair within reach. The Falgate Inn is nearby for food and drink.
