North Norfolk's Broadland offers a patchwork of waterways, nature reserves and open skies, with walking and cycling threaded through the landscape. Bay sits down a quiet country lane here, a converted barn cottage with its own patio and hot tub, surrounded by the reed beds and ancient churches that give the area its character. The nearest town of any size is Wroxham, 4 miles away—the Broads' main hub, home to boat hire and the Bure Valley steam railway. Sea Palling beach is 6 miles off, while Potter Heigham's boatyards are equally close for a day on the water.
The cottage holds three bedrooms and three bathrooms across two floors. Downstairs is an open-plan living and dining space with a separate kitchen equipped for real cooking—electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and all the rest—plus a bathroom with a full bath and shower. Upstairs, a double bedroom has an ensuite shower room, and two further rooms with single beds share a second shower room. Bed linen, towels and wifi are provided; you'll need to bring your own food. One dog is welcome. The hot tub on the patio is the main draw for evening relaxation, and there's parking on site. No smoking inside.
Nearby attractions include How Hill nature reserve with its marsh walks and woodland, BeWILDerwood adventure park for children, and a string of riverside pubs and cafés. Great Yarmouth and Cromer are both within reach for traditional seaside days out. Canoe and bike hire are available locally to explore the waterways and quiet lanes.
