Bracken Lodge comes fully equipped for a self-catering stay. The ground floor opens onto a living space with a 40-inch smart TV, Netflix access, DVD player and books, alongside a kitchen with electric oven, hob and microwave. Upstairs are three bedrooms: a double, a kingsize, and a galleried single with sloping ceilings. The shower room has a walk-in shower. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included; a travel cot is available on request.
The lodge sits within Weybourne Forest's 100 acres of pine woodland, part of a larger protected area adjoining Sheringham Park. A network of footpaths ranging from one to five miles winds through the forest. The North Norfolk coastal path is accessible and leads towards Cromer or Hunstanton within walking distance or a short drive. The coastal village of Weybourne, with its shingle beach and a local deli serving fresh bread, cheese and basics, is just over a mile away. A pub and further shops lie within 15 minutes on foot. The North Norfolk Railway, which runs between Holt and Sheringham, is also close by. One dog stays free. There is parking for two cars on site, and a veranda with garden furniture overlooks the forest. No smoking.
