About Kelling Heath Holiday Park
Kelling Heath spreads across 250 acres of protected heathland and mixed woodland between Sheringham and Weybourne, sitting high enough to glimpse the sea from parts of the site. It's one of Norfolk's larger holiday parks, with touring pitches alongside statics and lodges, and the facilities reflect that scale: indoor and outdoor pools, a bar-restaurant, tennis courts, play areas and a packed activity programme through school holidays. The woodland offers good shelter from the coastal wind, and pitches range from hardstanding to grass, most with electric hook-up. Modern shower blocks stay well maintained even in peak season.
The heathland itself is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, home to nightjars in summer and flowering heather from July. A private halt on the North Norfolk Railway runs steam trains down to Sheringham or up to Holt without needing the car—a genuinely unusual perk. Weybourne beach is within walking distance, Blakeney seal trips a short drive west. The park books months ahead for summer holidays, and prices reflect demand, climbing from around £20 in early spring to well over £50 in August. Some visitors feel parts of the infrastructure can look a little tired despite the upkeep.

We stayed at the campsite part of Kelling Heath in a tent (they have lodges too) in the area that allows dogs, in the May half term 2026 for a couple of nights. This was our 3rd or 4th time. It’s a really great campsite; in the middle of woods with lots of walks, a great park for kids with a playing field with lots of apparatus to climb, a village square with a shop, pub, tearoom/pizza/ice cream parlour, outdoor and indoor swimming pool. There is an extra charge for the indoor swimming pool if you are camping. Live music in the evenings in the village square with food vans (I think this is just in peak season). Not too far from Sherringham and Cromer. Toilets and showers pretty near all the pitches and always very clean.

We recently had a cabin at Kelling Heath while supporting a someone with a learning disability on holiday. We were all treated with kindness and understanding at all times. The onsite restaurant staff and other customers were amazing and just accepted us completely. The food was delicious and the chef was so helpful with issues with my dietary requirements. The reception staff were so kind when we had a problem and the issue was sorted out quickly and without prejudice. We had a brilliant holiday. The facilities and site are clean and well maintained and the surrounding area is so beautiful . The weather was not good at times during our holiday but we felt happy to return to our warm , comfortable lodge after a day out. I would recommend Kelling Heath Holiday Park to anyone. Thank you everyone at the park.

First time staying at Kelling Heath and what gem it is. Friendly welcome on arrival, good sized pitch with very clean facilities. We were on the blue pitches area and all I would say is the shower water temperature is lovely and hot but the room was quite cold. Loads of paths to explore on the site, not far from Weybourne station where the North Norfolk Railway line runs between Holt and Sheringham. You can even board from Kelling Heath halt when the train is going to Sheringham. On site shop has all the essentials and there is also a fitness club on site with a lovely swimming pool and gym. Lots of wildlife, saw Muntjacs very regularly and if you are lucky you might see the red squirrels in the breeding enclosure. Would certainly recommend walking to the viewpoint with stunning views across to Weybourne. Can easily see us coming back sometime in the future. One final point, I do feel that you should not allow people to take mobile phones in to the pool area. We were concerned that someone was in there with their phone held up and could have been filming.

Brilliant place... all welcome ... staff marvelous... lots to do x see... wonderful sites for caravans.. Motorhomes... tents large x small ... sunny spots.. or Shady... toilet blocks.. laundry... dog wash.. x so much more.... Enjoy yourselves....
