Waxham beach lies less than a mile away, and the Broads themselves begin 100 yards beyond the garden, where you can moor your own boat or hire a rowing dinghy. Coarse fishing runs free in season, and year-round you might spot European Cranes among the other birdlife. Great Yarmouth is 13 miles off; Norwich, 22. Shops and pubs are a two-mile drive.
Bridge End is a three-bedroom cottage sleeping six, set in twelve acres of partially wooded grounds with paths to explore. The main living spaces are on the ground floor: a sitting room with an open fire and Freeview, a dining room, and a kitchen equipped to cook proper meals. Upstairs are three bedrooms—one with a double and single, two with single beds each—and a bathroom with bath and shower. Bed linen comes as standard. The property is yours alone, with its own large lawned garden and patio furnished with a gas barbecue. A separate woodland play area, away from the water, has a playhouse, slide and ropes for younger children. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking inside. There is an unfenced river frontage 100 yards into the garden, which guests should be aware of.
