Chive

Chive sits down a country lane in Broadland, surrounded by open fields and the flat, wide skies of Norfolk. The cottage is one of a converted barn cluster, each with its own patio. You get the whole place to yourself: downstairs is an open-plan living space with kitchen and dining area, a bathroom with bath and shower, and upstairs are two bedrooms—a double and two singles—plus a shower room. Bed linen and towels are provided, and there's wifi and parking on site.

The location puts you within walking and cycling distance of How Hill nature reserve, with its dykes, woodland and open water, and the wider marshes dotted with ancient churches and wind pumps. The Falgate Inn is within a mile. Potter Heigham is 4 miles away if you want to hire a boat; Wroxham, 6 miles off, has bike and canoe hire and serves as the hub for the Bure Valley steam railway. Sea Palling beach is 6 miles in the other direction. Great Yarmouth and its pleasure beach, Cromer's seafront attractions, and BeWILDerwood tree-top park are all within reach for a day out. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The cottage does not allow smoking.
