Church Rooms is a converted cottage on the edge of Northrepps, a village in the heart of North Norfolk close enough to the coast to make beach days straightforward. Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan living and dining space with wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with their own bathrooms, and direct access to the garden. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed and en suite shower; the second has two single beds. A travel cot is available for younger children.
The interior keeps touches of the building's history—a reclaimed church pew serves the dining table—while the furnishings take a country aesthetic throughout. You get wi-fi, electricity, bed linen, towels and underfloor heating included. There is parking for one car and a welcome pack on arrival. No smoking.
Overstand beach, quieter than Cromer's seafront, sits nearby with wide sand for swimming and walking. Cromer itself offers the pier, traditional seaside attractions, shops and cafés. Blakeney Quay is good for crab lining to the west; the dunes at Winterton-on-Sea lie to the east. Wroxham, half an hour away, has day boats for the Norfolk Broads. Norwich is within 45 minutes for its castle, museums and galleries.

A picture perfect place, beautifully decorated and wonderfully clean. Loved the personal touch of a lemon cake on arrival (big plus for me as I'm the only lemon cake lover!!) I would live here full time if I could!! I hope to return soon.
