Cromer and the surrounding North Norfolk coast draw visitors for the pier, the beach and that particular stretch of East Anglian character. The Roost sits on the outskirts of Northrepps, a village three miles inland, close enough to reach the seafront on foot but far enough to feel properly rural. It's a brick-and-flint cottage with two bedrooms—a double and a bunk room—sleeping four, and one bathroom with a bath and shower.
The layout spreads across two floors. Downstairs holds the living and dining space with a woodburner and Smart TV, plus a kitchen fitted with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs are the bedrooms. Outside, there's an enclosed front garden with patio and seating, and a rear courtyard that catches the sun, both private and fenced. One car can park on site. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi—are included, and logs for the burner come with the stay.
Dogs stay free, and the fully fenced gardens mean yours can safely explore while you sit out. Public footpaths from the door lead through ancient woodland, past clifftop views and down to Overstrand beach in about twenty minutes. Cromer itself has its famous pier, restaurants, cafés and chip shops known for local crab. The Norfolk Broads lie half an hour's drive away. No smoking.
