Daisy Broad Lodges - Heron
North Norfolk
Heron is a four-bedroom lodge on the banks of the River Bure in North Norfolk, designed with the living spaces upstairs so the balcony becomes the heart of the place. Walking in at ground level, you find four bedrooms and three bathrooms arranged around the lower floor—two doubles with ensuite showers, and two further bedrooms each with twin singles. Upstairs is the full living space: an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room that opens directly onto a furnished balcony overlooking the water. The kitchen is fully fitted with an oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and all the basics for self-catering; electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included.
The lodge sits right on the river's edge with its own lawned area and garden furniture, plus a barbecue. A free motor launch is available for exploring the Broads (except during Whitsun and peak summer, when day boats can be hired at reduced rates). If you have a fishing licence, there is fishing available on nearby riverfront. The property sleeps eight and welcomes one pet. A pub is within a mile. Note that there is unfenced river edge close by, and smoking is not permitted inside.
