Daisy Broad Lodges - Mallard
North Norfolk
Daisy Broad Lodges - Mallard is a four-bedroom property sleeping eight on the banks of the River Bure in the heart of Norfolk Broads. Families will find cots and highchairs available, and the river location means children can watch boats and wildlife from the garden. Larger groups and multi-generational trips work well here too, with enough bedrooms and bathrooms to give everyone privacy. There is unfenced river edge very close, so supervision matters if young children are present.
The layout puts the living spaces upstairs: an open-plan area with a sitting room, dining space and kitchen, opening onto a balcony with river views. Ground floor holds three bedrooms—two doubles with ensuite showers and a twin—plus a bathroom with a bath. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking, with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and everything else needed for self-catering. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard. One pet is welcome.
A free motor launch (moored at the property) is yours to use except during Whitsun and Summer school holidays, when day boat hire is available at reduced rates. If you have a fishing licence, there are fishing rights on nearby riverfront. The nearest pub is within walking distance, and you're well-placed for exploring the Broads themselves or reaching Norwich and the coast.
