Keepers Retreat is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom property sleeping two, set on the ground floor throughout. The open-plan living space combines a lounge with dining and kitchen areas, where you can prepare meals using the electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and other essentials. A double bed and shower room complete the layout. Outside, a patio garden with furniture and gas barbecue means you can cook alfresco when the weather allows. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are provided, and there is parking for one car on site.
The property sits in Roughton, a North Norfolk village with good transport links to the wider area. From here, the coastline is within easy reach—Cromer's pier and promenade are accessible for a stroll, while heading west brings you to Blakeney Quay, known for crab lining and seasonal boat trips to see seals. The marshes, beaches and quiet villages scattered along this stretch of coast make the region popular with walkers and those seeking quieter seaside stops. The area also has heritage attractions including Felbrigg Hall, Blickling, and the North Norfolk Railway. No smoking, please.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Keeper’s Cottage Guest House. Stephen and Andrew are generous with their time, their hospitality and their house and garden. The rooms and garden are stunning and beautifully maintained and the quality and choice of breakfast is exceptional. Our time here was really special and we hope to go back one day soon.

Stayed here recently with friends. What a wonderful find. Very quiet location near Holt. The house is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Stephen & Andy are great hosts who made us feel very at home, and can't do enough for you. Amazing choice of breakfast. Cannot recommend highly enough.
