North Norfolk

North Norfolk's quiet villages sit within reach of both the Norfolk coastline and the Broads, with Cromer and Sheringham's beaches five miles away. Heather Cottage stands in this protected landscape, offering four guests a self-contained base for exploring the area's walking routes, nature reserves and traditional seaside towns. One dog is welcome here.
The cottage spreads across two floors. Downstairs holds a living room with an open fire, a kitchen equipped for cooking and entertaining, and a conservatory. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and ensuite shower, another with two singles. A family bathroom with bath and shower completes the layout. An enclosed garden includes a patio, furniture and barbecue, plus a kennel and exercise yard outside for dogs. Parking is on site. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are included.
Groveland Farm Shop lies nearby for provisions. The market town of North Walsham is six miles away; Felbrigg Hall, a National Trust property, is three miles. Norwich and the Broads are both within 40 minutes' drive. No smoking inside.

What guests say
A great space, nice location and fairly comfortable. Could do with a deep clean and some basic maintenance.

Lovely place but could do with a good clean

Roomy, cosy accommodation, clean, well appointed. Centrally based for easy access to the coast and countryside. A bit noisy at the front - could do with secondary glazing with an acoustic lining around the reveals. Bathroom basin slow to drain, kitchen hot tap has a leak and conservatory gutters require clearing. None of these, though, affected our stay or enjoyment. Generous parking out front - just need to be a bit cautious when pulling out. Nice view at back and side across open farmland.
