Walcott sits on the Norfolk coast between Cromer and Sheringham, with direct beach access—the sea is just 50 yards away. Rest-A-While is a ground-floor bungalow on a quiet road, sleeping up to six across three bedrooms: a double, two singles, and a third bedroom with a pull-out single bed. There's one bathroom with both bath and separate shower cubicle.

The open-plan living and dining space has a woodburner, Freeview TV and DVD player, with patio doors leading to a conservatory. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, including dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. An enclosed rear garden with patio and furniture offers space to sit out. Electricity, wifi, bed linen and initial logs for the fire are included. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Private parking accommodates three cars.

Wroxham, the Broads' hub for boat trips and activities, is 14 miles away. Bacton Woods nearby is good for walking and cycling; the town also has golf, fishing and birdwatching locally. Shops are 300 yards' walk, pubs 600 yards. No smoking inside.

I mean there was a couple of stains on the wall when we got here the doorbell is inside the house the pillows on the sofa was a little dirty location is perfect though right by the beach also the oven only has one shelf and there’s only one oven tray which is annoying when there’s more than 2 people also the drain in the kitchen STUNK but I loved the stay honestly if these were fixed it would be a perfect house

I've stayed multiple times here over the years. it is well maintained, clean and regularly upgraded. Long walks on the beach which is only a yards from the entrance or take a pleasant walk along the coast road to the nearby chip shop. Its my little peace of quiet and relaxation. I love it there and will go again. It's dog friendly, long walks in the sand means worn out dogs at night.

I've stayed at Rest a While and do not recognise the property Mr Wakeling is talking about. It is clean, beds are extremely comfortable with no wildlife on/in them The kitchen is large and includes all facilities such as washing machine, dishwasher etc. There is plenty of cupboard space to stock up with food and a lovely garden for children/pets to play in. The beach is 2 minutes walk and you can take dogs down as well. Basically everything you need is there to enjoy a lovely relaxing holiday

We had a wonderfully relaxing holiday. The bungalow was spotlessly clean and decorated beautifully. I was astonished and perplexed to read a recent review that stated the opposite.( which makes me think this must have been a fake review) The owners had paid attention to every small detail which made our stay so comfortable. The location was super with only the beach a few metres walk away. I can not recommend this property highly enough. We will definitely be returning in the very near future.
