This converted barn sits on a quiet country lane deep in Broadland, where open fields stretch across the horizon beneath big Norfolk skies. The cottage is yours alone, with parking on site and a patio to step out to. One dog is welcome here.
Two bedrooms and two bathrooms mean guests have space to spread. The ground floor holds a combined living, dining and kitchen area with electric cooking, a dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs, one bedroom has a double bed with an ensuite shower, while the other has two single beds and an ensuite toilet. Bed linen and towels are supplied, along with wi-fi and Freeview television. The layout suits families or two couples equally well.
Walking and cycling radiate from the cottage into marshland, past windpumps and old churches. How Hill nature reserve is close by for birdwatching and exploring dykes and woodland. Canoe and bike hire are available locally; boats launch from Potter Heigham four miles away. The Falgate Inn is within walking distance. Wroxham, the Broads' main town, has the Bure Valley steam railway and a famous department store. Beaches at Sea Palling are six miles off. Great Yarmouth and its pleasure beach, Cromer's seaside attractions, and BeWILDerwood adventure park all lie within reach for a day out. No smoking throughout the property.
