Wroxham sits at the heart of the Norfolk Broads, and from The Boathouse you can step straight into that world. The village itself has cafes, restaurants and shops within walking distance, while the wider landscape offers footpaths and cycling trails for exploring on foot or by bike. A pub is within a mile. The river frontage means constant activity on the water to watch from your balcony, and a motorboat is moored nearby for your use (chargeable during Whitsun and summer school holidays, when day boats can be hired instead at a reduced rate).

The cottage is arranged upside-down style: bedrooms on the ground floor (one double, one with two singles) both open on to a decked area, while the first floor holds an open-plan living, dining and kitchen space with patio doors to a glass balcony looking out over the river. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer, so you can self-cater fully. One dog is welcome. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included; there is parking for one car on site.

The property suits families and groups of four, though note there is unfenced water frontage just 4ft from the rear—something to be aware of if you're bringing young children. No smoking inside.
