The Boathouse sits on the bank of the River Bure within a working boatyard, with a motor launch moored nearby for guests to use (except during peak summer holidays, when day boats can be hired at reduced rates). The property's design puts living spaces upstairs—an open-plan first floor with patio doors onto a glass balcony—leaving the ground floor for four bedrooms, each opening onto a decked area. Five bathrooms means no queuing; the kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher and microwave for proper cooking; a wood-burning stove and gas central heating keep things warm; and wifi, bed linen and towels are all provided.

Wroxham, known as the Capital of the Broads, is within walking distance for pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops. Fishing is available on-site (a licence is required). The property accommodates eight people and allows one pet. There is unfenced water frontage four feet from the rear, which matters if you have young children. Non-smokers only. Parking for two cars is on site.
